Is there a nite datona track
Thanks Steve

Yes, but all it is, is a hacked Talladega track. Why would you want that?
It's still a 2.66 mile track with the word Daytona painted on the side.
Still has the finish line after the trioval, not in the middle. Still
drives just like Tally.
The real Daytona is not like Tally.

Better than nothing? IT'S JUST TALLADEGA! You already have that on your
computer. How is it better?
How is it better?
Does anyone have a REAL daytona, with the "start-finish" line in the
correct spot???
About that hacked part, he's right. It's a hacked track. You run the program to
make it, and it looks JUST like Tally! They have to make the real track, not a
clone of Tally.

No one has this, it would require a complete re-edit of the track .TRK
file and the .3DO file. There is a modified Nascar 1 Talladega track
that has the start/finish line moved into the correct position, but
this is only a graphics mod, the real start/finish line the sim uses
is still in the original place. This N1 track was modified first then
converted from N1 to N2.
IMHO, the N1 Tally track is very close to Daytona. If you take off
the restrictor plate, then change the track distance in the track file
from 2.6 to 2.5, the overall speed as calculated by the sim is close
to the 190 range (even tho the incar speedometer shows over 200
most of the time). Hey it works for me.
And NO I will not send you the track, I found it on the Web,
and you can too.

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone still has street rods 1 & 2. I lost my copy

I would be thankful if you could email me at:
Thanks

1) Run to your car
2) Go fill it at your closest Gas station
3) Head to Florida
4) Get on the I-95
5) Get out at the Daytona exit
6) Head to the DaytonaUSA experience attraction
7) Park your car, Run, run, run and run.
8) Pay the fee, get inside and visit
9) Head to the Daytona qualifying boot
10) Qualify on the only real Daytona track model
11) Note that the game is from Papyrus, some sort of N1/N2 hybrid version
Oh you can also do this if you want
12) Steal the server behind the monitors
13) Hack the track in the HD of the server
14) Make if for Nascar2
15) Wait for the big letter that say "You are sued"
hehe

Hi Buckler,
Yeah, I've got Hot Rod 2. I found it on this "Abandonware" site for
really old games like HR2.
Will have to email it to you when I get home -- and the Abandonware URL.
Jason.
