GP2 - sound configuration

by Martin Hugh Roger » Tue, 22 Feb 2000 04:00:00

OK, I have patched my installation of GP2 with the 99 tracks and the
2000 carset - However I wish to move the whole directory structure to
another machine without having to go through all the track patching
and so on again.  However, the problem is that the sound card is set up
with different parameters between the two machines.

How can I reconfigure the sound settings without reinstalling GP2?

Thanks in advance,
mart

Just use 'setup.exe' in the gp2 dir,
there you can change your soundcard settings...

cheers

But doesn't that force you to reinstall the whole game first, before you
get to the sound configuration part ?

Thanks,

No - there is an option to configure your installation. The only thing
in there is the sound card setting.

Doh!
Sorry I confused Install.exe with setup.exe.

Thanks!

99 tracks? Wow, where is this add-on? (walking into the topic a bit
late).

 Thanks,

 Hello,

Hmm, that page is blank, maybe it's just down for the day. I did find
some tracks at:
http://www.alphaf1.com/gp2/trk-tps.html

 Is there a alphaf1 url that has a complete track-pack (of 99
tracks?), or maybe a alpha1 main-page?

 Thanks, Matt

Dang page still won't load. It's a "Netscape-Thing", it does work
with an old version of IE. Thanks.

Yeah, the 99 track pack is there. Earlier you mentioned the 2000
carset, and the 99 track pack. Sounds logical.

Hehehehe, ummmmm, I just kinda figured it was the 2k carset, and
-99- fun, new, fictitious, and separate, complete tracks. Now I
understand, although I still wish there was a track-pack with 99
tracks..<g>.
