N2 Becomes N-Rev!

After reading the *** crashing reports of NASCAR Revolution, I
went and tried N2 in Michigan to see how the AI cars would drive on
their own (for a future project of mine). After like 40 laps there was
this HUGE crash that involved over half of the field and took out more
than 10 cars:

You rarely see these kinds of accidents started by a single AI car
spinning! If anyone is interested in seeing the replay, I have it on
my hard drive. What was most amazing (apart from Steve Park finishing
second) was that it only took them two laps to clear the field!

Will N3 include red flags?

LOL! That's gotta be SOME replay!!

The time it takes to "clean up a mess" is also my complaint about
N2/99/50th; not only does it seem to happen too quickly, but since you see
no "clean up" it just feels like you're suddenly doing a bunch of 45mph
laps...

    Red flags would be cool...

Side question: is yellow-flag speed limit the same as pit road speed
limit in RL?  Seems that way in N2/99/50th.  I'm sure the WC cars don't go
that slow during yellow - do they?

I'm not sure for all tracks, but no, the pit road speed limit is not the same
as the pace car speed limit.  At Daytona, I think the pit road limit is like 65
and pace laps are around 75mph because they need to maintain that speed so they
don't slide down the banking.

If the crash is so bad then yes. I'm not saying they should simulate
drivers trying to get out of their cars in the middle of the pileup,
just that each car is towed out of the track (even if at a faster pace
than in real life) and once the raceway is clear, you would be allowed
to start driving again.

Just make it optional and no-one would mind I'm sure.

<snip>

No, the yellow flag and pit road speeds aren't neccesarily the same.  NASCAR
does run the pitroad speed limit during some of the pace laps so  the teams
can get the exact RPM's they should run to be at the limit.  This is when
you see two (or more?) groups of cars, each behind different pace cars.
