N99 Carsets? Tracks? Setups?

by Frank » Sat, 26 Dec 1998 04:00:00

I hope someone would please help me with a few questions...
Can you remove (from the directory)  .car files? ie; car#112,
113, etc...Those unknows stuck in there.
After doing this can you then load some carsets, D/L off the
net, into your cars directory?
Can you copy over some of those Great Tracks from N2?
Will your old N2 setups work with N99? If all they need is to
be tweaked, no problem, I've been doing this with N and N2. There easy
and ace setups are only good for viewing the tracks.   :-(

Any and all help will appreciated...   :-)

Thanks in advance....

No, Pocono is not there, but it can be copied(the whole track directory)
from N2.  one or two other files need to be copied into the directory from
another N99 track, but I'm not sure which ones, as I haven't done this yet.
Someone please help us out here.  Also, I believe you need a pallet fix
patch for the Logos.

Pocono can be copied from your old n2 or the NROS Directory ( on N99 CD) .
Then run the "Pits Patch" which will update logos, signs , etc.  for Pocono,
Daytona and Indy.
