N2 & Microsoft Flight Sim 6.0

Installed Microsoft Flight Sim 6.0 tonight.  Flight sim ran fine, then I
tried to run N2 - no dice, wouldn't load.  Tried to run Quake - wouldn't
load.  It seems the Flight sim installation program installed new
drivers for my Reactor video card.  Had to re-install the Intergraph
drivers to get N2 to run.  I also uninstalled the flight sim.  Anyone
else have this problem?

It's probably the Microsloth Direct X video.  I had to reinstall W95 from
scratch to get anything to work after the Direct X infected my machine
from some 'magazine demo disk'.

I guess Microsoft isn't content until they corner the virus market as
well.

I is most likely the Direct X drivers loading! Did you try FS6.0 after
changing back to the Reactor video driver? It should work fine after the
change back!

Rick, and all:

This happens all the time. And not just with N2; What you have to watch for
is when the program you're installing asks if it should install DirectX
drivers for your video card tell it NO! The driver package for the card(I
have a Stalth 64- same thing happened- once) usually now includes DirectX
for the card you have. Some of the "official" driver packages that come
with games are not as good as the actual manufacturer release.
