If everyone has daytona on their machine is that enough? Or do the
all.cal files have to be identical. I am worried that editing that file will
***up online play. Anyone tried it yet?

I've tried it with mixed results.  The first time I raced there, all the cars
weren't in their pit boxes correctly, but worked fine.  The 2nd time,
everything was screwed up and cars kept skipping ahead every 100 yards or so.

The problem is:  Not everyone realizes yet that the Daytona track is
available.  They see someone advertising a Daytona race at so&so ip# and
go there with their converted Talladega track instead.
That usually results in an immeadiate disco for everyone.
Some people have already begun editing the track text to suit their
own personal tastes and I'm sure that is causing havoc as well.  (must
be nice..."Hey Mr. France, your track has too much grip, lets change
that some shall we?")
I've run 3 daytona sessions, two were fine, one never got started and
I had to totally reboot to join even other tracks.
