Hi:
I'm new to N3, great program (simulation?). Are there any upgrades or
patches for it yet?

TIA,

What type of patch are you looking for? They are all over the web and this
newsgroup if you just listen before you speak you will find your answers.

There is one patch comming, it is currently in beta and
generally is for improving the multiplayer aspects.  N3 should
run without any major problems as is.
Of course like the rude fellow replied, there are plenty of
paintjobs(skins) setups, graphic updates, AI updates plenty of
private sector work being done for N3.
  Have fun

I don;t usually flame... but why do you spend so much time flaming others
for asking newbie questions? You know what they are by reading the subject
headers. So don't read them if you don't like the posts. It's not like we
have a big bandwidth issue here on r.a.s. and it's also not a problem like
it is on the c.s.i.p.g.sports newsgroup, where very other message is "What's
the best hockey game?"

and no not everyone has you all-encompassing knowledge of deja news.

I don't intend to start a flame war here and I won't say anything more in
this thread, but please lighten up.

I thought these newsgroups were for help, not patronising impatient prats.

Christian:
Thanks for the sites. As for "gearbox", I think "dipstick" would be a
better name, bit that's another story.

Thanks again,
