After 13 months of on and off playing GPL, I have FINALLY driven a lap
at Nurburg under 10 minutes.  
9:43.52, WHAT A LAP!!! Using the keyboard, i reckon that is pretty
good.  Still room for improvement too.  And its boosted my GPLRank
handicap up to 169.89!!!! I nearly fell off my seat

I Could be the happiest man alive right now :):)

I cannot get around any track using the keyboard, but I think you shoud
consider buying a wheel, and you will soon break the 9 minute barrier at the
Ring :-)

You could be SO much happier with a wheel and pedals. Tell me though, what
keys do you use when driving with t the keyboard. I reckon that it could be
quite interesting for me, a sworn wheel-user, to do some KB laps.

I'm just amazed that you can get under 10 mins for the Ring using a keyboard
. Mine is awkward enough to use just to type this post . God knows what
you'll do if you get a joystick or a wheel . I just hope you're taking the
piss.

just the arrow keys for forward brake left right.  And F5 and F6 for
changing gears.

Yeah, i dont have the money at the moment to get a wheel.  Will be the
first thing on my birthday list!!!

Then I must be o'er the moon by now, I just did a 9.14 at the Ring. To think
that 2 mths ago, I couldn't even complete a lap without cutting a corner!
yeh! And I've boosted my GPL handicap to +99!! Under the century!!! Pop the
champagne, boys!!!
