Who's a genius with controllers - Win98 SE

I drive Papy sims.  Rarely do I do anything else with the PC.  BUT, when I
do try other bits and bobs it becomes a right royal pain with controllers.

Currently:
#1 Logi MOMO
#2 ACT LABS GPL Shifter
#3 Rockfire USB Adaptor Mode 3 (modded T2 pedals for clutch)
#4 TM NASCAR Pro (use for pedals 'cause the MOMO deal is utter crap) through
a 4-way gameport switchbox going into the SBLive.

So, if a mate comes round and we wanna play a 2-up game with joypads, I can
switch my gameport box to where I've got the Sidewinders daisychained but I
obviously still have 3 usb devices attached ahead of them.

Is there a way of writing a macro to allow me to remove controllers from the
*** Options control panel?  And obviously have one to put 'em all back in
the right order once I'm done so I can get racing again ASAP?

With that many devices it's really hard to juggle them around.  Do you
have to use gameport devices?  I eliminated mine altogether.  If I
were you I'd replace the gameport devices with equivalent USB devices.
It is so much easier to unplug and plug up the ones you want.

I have:

MS Wheel
GPL Shifter
Performance Pedals
USB Gamepad

When I want to play GPL, I unplug them all and plug the MS wheel, the
pedals then the shifter last, they get assigned ID #1, 2, 3.  

If I want to play a game that uses gamepad, I'll unplug them all and
plug in the gamepad and it's asssigned #1.
