Hi,

Did anyone else managed to grab this file? It contains two files,
NASREND.EXE and SPD3D.UC. The first one is a Nascar executable and
the second one obviously the microcode file. I tried to place the
files to my Nascar and Nascar2 demo folders and run the executable.
Here's what I got:

Copyright (c) 1994-1996  Papyrus Design Group, Inc.  All rights
reserved.
Version Beta 18
Pentium-class machine.
Running from D: drive
UniVBE driver not present
Unable to read options.cfg file.  Using defaults.
Unable to read race.cfg file.  Using defaults.
Digital Sound
Port 220  IRQ 5  DMA 1
Confirmed with SB16 8 ST
Unable to load necessary soundfiles.

And I do have the files there ... Any ideas (or instructions from
Rendition :-)) how to get this Rendition ready beta work with
Nascar???

I think it is just the beta executable and microcode files for the
Rendition Ready full version of Nascar2.  Just like with id's Quake, it
appears Rendition is helping Papyrus with the port.
