Umm... sir,
Being on AOL, you've probably never used a UNIX system.  So,
just to inform you, the 127.0.0.1 FTP site that he spoke of is just
loopback.  If you were running and ftpd so somebody could FTP from
your site, you could put in 127.0.0.1 and connect to your own.  You've
been had.

But we DID have a good laugh at your expense. ;)

You guys are idiots to broadcast that in here.  Are the software
police at your door yet?  Ed's gonna be pissed off when he see's this
shit.  I wouldn't recommend letting anyone around here know about your
covert operations.  I hope it has a virus that zaps your harddrive.

Damn, what kinda' bait was used for that one?!? Looks like y'all
caught another fish (Sorry, Tony... I did forego use of your patented
"Whizz.... plop" though <g>).
Being a UNIX critter by trade, I see where this goof is going. It's
a pretty old joke. Yeah... go ahead guys... ftp to that IP address and
see what happens. BTW, anyone have the IP and port number for the
"excuse" server. You telnet to it and get a random excuse. Pretty good
for technical support guys who want to blow off a real whiner   8 )

Please ignore this idiot. The internet address 127.0.0.1 is loopback -
ie. if you telnet to it you'll be telnetting to your own machine.
