   Just one additional thing, if you change the number of opponents in the games
start up menu it will revert back to the default of 7 and you have to
reconfigure the file again if you want more opponents.  Paul

Go into your /viper/config/ folder and open the file called
options.cfg. Under the [game] section (may be a little hard to find)
change the "ai_car_count 7" to "ai_car_count 15" and the "car_count 8"
to "car count_16." Any higher usaually crashes the game... but don't
be afraid to try.
