Motorola Cup carset for SCGT?

Hi everyone!

I just got SCGT and is this a great game or what? As a newbie, I have a
few questions.
Is it possible to race multiple class races in career mode? Also is
there anyone working on a Motorola Cup carset (like the ALMS carset)? I
found a few Motorola Cup cars around the Web, but a full carset would be
really nice.

Thanks a lot!

www.littleracer.com had a few Motorola Cup Cars (5 or 6)
The only way you could race in the different classes is to create a new
player for each one. You cannot race the GT1 and GT2 class at the same time
with the same player.
Also grab the Service Pack 3 by James Wholever (spelling?, sorry James!). It
is the best! Lots of cars and updates to the track graphics. It also creates
the Trans Am class.

Is there anyplace to download SP3 as ONE file instead of all those
seperate files?  I have DSL (at work only!) and downloading all those
individual files would be WAY too big a pain in the ass!

you have DSL, try downloading several, if not all at the same time.

you can download multiple files at once.

Little racer (www.littleracer.com) had it up as one file (that is where I
got it) but he took it down. They said they may put it back up.

  Standard speech number 115:::

Get a dload manager.  Go!Zilla or Getright, you can schedule downloads
while you asleep or away.  You can resume inter-rupted dloads.  You will
find the service pak archive is NOT happy with Netscape.  If you try and
grab the service pak with netscape you will end up having to do it all
over.  Go!zilla is free.  Get it...let it do the work.  once you have
Go!zilla installed, just surf to the dload page where all the SP3/0
files are kept.  Then choose the "leech files" option in Go!zilla.  From
there you can either start dloading right away, or schedule the sessions
for another time.  Easy painless and far more reliable than using your
browser.

(snip a bunch of otherwise good advice)

The problem with using Go1zilla or Getright nowadays is that you may be
unknowingly installing a program that actively brings adverti***ts to you.
The Aureate program sets up something that looks a *lot* like a server on
your machine and then asks other machines to send you ads that are
supposedly tailored to your tastes. It installs as a rider to the programs
above (plus many others) without asking for permission, operates without
your consent in stealth mode and requires fiddling with the registry to get
rid of. While I don't much care if some marketer knows what I look at I do
object to the sneaky way that this program goes about its job on MY machine.

If this bothers you you can get more details and a complete list of
programs "infected" with Aureate (279 of 'em at last count) check this site:

Can Aureate be got rid of with EndItAll or similar, or is a registry
hack the *only* way?

The impression I get is that Enditall won't find it since it operates
through hooks into your browser and runs whenever your browser is running.
Apparently bringing up the task manager won't reveal it either.(?becuase its
operating through the browser? not sure here)

Best thing is to do a file search on your computer for a file called
advert.dll. Another thing that happens is a folder called AMC (it'll hold
several advertising banners) gets created in your windows folder. Look for a
registry key called HKEY CURRENT USER\SOFTWARE\Aureate . You can delete all
of the above to rid yourself of it. AS ALWAYS, Back up your registry before
fiddling with it.

Essentially, it is because it is operating as a service, not a program.  If
you go into System Info  ( MSINFO32.EXE ) you can see the DLLs that are
loaded and presumably it would show up there.

I've had it on my system since august 1999, and it was accessed today even
though I no longer have that software, I wonder what kind of info they got
today?

oh and my Targeted ad's were:

The Simpons guide to Springfield book from Amazon.com (Ok I like the show
but probably wouldn't buy a book about it. I'll give them a break on it and
gibe them +1)

another Amazon book about day trading. (I don't do stocks, minus 1)

A New Netalica CD (Ok I never really liked these guys, and they're just
getting worse -1 again)

A Beck CD (Again not what I like, -1)

A Primus CD (-1 nuff said)

An add from Aureate themselves selling ad space (Ok I admit if I didn't
totally go against this whole Idea I could use it +1)

A couple e-tour guides (I don't need a guide, I'm good at online
research -1)

Bank 1 ad for e-commerce ( I guess this one hits everyone +1)

Orange Soda.com (Have no idea, but orange soda is ok in my mind so... +1 I
guess)

Dilbert comics (Nope sorry -1)

VISA (Credit isn't for me right now -1)

-3 on it, or about a 50% hit rate, I don't think that was worth invading my
privacy for, and a waste of money for VISA and Amazon, since I won't buy
from them until they apologies.

Boy that's news to me... I have had Go!zilla on my pc's for ages and
haven't had any adverti***ts sent to me. Would that be because I am based
in the UK and it only caters for US people??
