Help: F1cs + new harddrive

OK I just installed a WD 30gig hard drive in addition to the original hd.
Install was full
of hassles...that floppy was very unreliable...but I finally got everything
working.
or so I thought.  I deleted f1cs2k and re-installed on the F:\drive...all
went well, the graphics are sharp, the music plays.  But when I go to the
car...no sound...none from
my car or the competitors...SFX play in the menu's...desktop sounds all
play, real player
makes proper noises...whats up with F1cs??  (there are no sounds when the
mouse
touches the menu buttons...didn't CS have little 'bonk' sounds when you
touched or
pressed on the menu options?
And...tried moving Nascar Heat to the new D:\ drive...the installer
created the new
folders on the drive then claimed it couldn't continue due to the HD being
full.
any ideas????
I have an Aureal oem card, with 2048 drivers that 'used' to work just fine
with CS.
N3 plays sounds just fine...on and off the track..but that is still on the
c:\ drive.

During installation ? How can this ever happen ? Or could you have dragged
them accidentally with your mouse to the other partition ? This mouse drag
thing happens in Windows Explorer very often.
