I have been looking for a CART racing game (mainly b/c I want
to race Laguna Seca) and came across CART Prescision Racing.  I have GT3
but want to race CART cars on this track as I watch the races on TV.

It's "old" (1997-98) but the demo is pretty good, and has Laguna
Seca :).

Any comments on this game?  The only thing in the demo was that
I couldn't change the resolution higher than 640x480.  I have a Voodoo5.
I also haven't tried my TM Ferrari wheel with it yet.

Other than the res, it seemed okay.  Had to use my Gravis Gamepad; that
was a challenge and a half.

Thanks,

  - Tom N.

Look for the patch. It allowed res up to 1024 x 768 (I think). Should look
pretty good with the V5 and AA.

It's wasn't THAT bad, does some things better than ICR 2, some things
worse.  Car handling is definately much better than ICR 2.  Oval AI stinks
on it, but the road course is good.

I thought the engine sound was great.  But the AI sucked.  Bad.  Even
Eldred & Dave Henrie could whoop them.  :-P
