GP3 SPINS ARE CANNED AND I CAN PROVE IT!

Hmmm... I think I see where the difference lies. In GPL you can sometimes
hold a drift with a constant wheel and throttle input. In GP3 you need to
adapt to several quick, fairly brutal steering corrections while you keep
your foot in it. Which doesn't mean floored... enough to either spin up the
rears or kick out the back, but not floored (would be very amazed if the
real guys did except for power spinning). Guess I automatically switched to
GP2 mode when I tried the game.

Sounds like F1 2K...

Can you turn into a spin when the back end starts to drift to far beyond
the slip angle so as to catch it. You know, like in GPL when you feel
the backend coming round and...  Oh, never mind.  :)

I was practising this down Hockenheims straights this evening in F12000 - I
got a (100% throttle all the way!) series of a about 3 or 4 burnouts that
stayed on the track if I held on to each gear for longer that is seemed I
should. If I changed up and changed up..I ended up in 7th, wheels doing
210mph, car doing 100mph - and loosing it one direction or another into the
wall...

It's possible to hold reasonable burn-outs in F12000!

do u have toe adjustments in F1 2000?

dunno wht no camber or toe adjustments in GP3, o course we'd also need tire
temps then, which are also missing, along with tire pressure...
