rec.autos.simulators

I just loaded nascar2 and everything works fine EXCEPT the sound. I have a
packard bell pentium 75 with sb 16 stereo and in the setup menu i used the
auto detect mode and the card was detected and it even tests out ok. "ok
ten four", but it will not work on the game or during that little video
intro, I tried reloading and it didnt work then either. I am using the
partial install (dont have enough rm for the full). Somebody please help.

Did you do the install under Windows? If so, you need to turn the
volume up (1/2 way full for my SB16) to hear the sounds when running
from DOS. Don't ask me why.

Make sure and run the 'setup' from DOS mode and NOT just double click
setup from Win 95.

: I used the install from the dos prompt and itr still dont work!
