Even better, re-stage the Race of Two Worlds, which pitted front-engined
Indy roadsters from the Fifties against a rag-tag collection of Euro iron
(including a central-seater D-Type Jag and the Eldorado [Ice Cream] Special,
an Italian-built roadster with a 4.5-liter Maserati engine...in fact, the
race was the main reason why Maser built the big V-8, which was supposed to
go on to Indy but which would up instead in the fabulous 450S sports-racing
car and the muscular Quattroporte sedan).
