It was late (the races always are here) and I wish I had thought before
pressing 'send'.
Here are my feelings in point form:
- This group SHOULD not really discuss issues other than auto sims.
- I enjoy reading the posts not directly related to sims because the people
present here share common interests and views, hence I do NOT think people
should limit the subject
of their posts as long as it is related to racing/motoring.
- It IS a problem that people post race results.
- I don't think is is fair that people not in the 'right' time zone should
have to stay away from the group because others can't follow a simple
subject convention.
- Sometimes we don't get to watch the race until the following weekend, if
we waited a whole week to read the group there would be too much mail.
In my view the solution is simple, post anything that you want, race
results, discussions of incidents, whatever, just PLEASE include the word
SPOILER somewhere in the subject. It's not too much of an inconvenience for
the people posting and the rest of us get to fully enjoy the race.
What does everyone else think?

Emiliano
True, but it does happen. And it does inadvertantly gets mentioned in
passing. Just a fact of life.
But this conflicts with your above statement in a completely 180 degree
direction. Mention who won races IS related to racing/motoring.
How is that? Its definetly related to racing/motoring...and in this case it
wasn't intentional to post the results of the race.
Again, you contradict yourself.
Yes, but then again that makes everyone else conform to your schedule. :)
Most people do. In this case it was more or less as I see it an inadvertant
mention of it.
