I obtained my copy of N3 through a second hand software store ( buy
and trade software) it has no manual. I can race in Championship mode
I can't figure out how to Qualify and therefore have to start out at
the back every race. Any help?

When you go to a track for a race (either in a championship or single
race) right next to the RACE button is NEXT SESSION - when you first
go to a track you are in practice, clicking NEXT SESSION takes you to
qualifying, and afterwards warmup and finally race - if you're getting
to race, you have to be going past qualifying.......? I don't
understand what you mean you can't qualify....?

Sounds like your driving mode is "arcade."  Arcade mode does NOT have
qualifying.  Look closely at your options page.

Make sure you are racing in realistic mode. If you are in the arcade
mode, you will always start at the back with no chance at qualifying.

It sounds like you have the driving mode set to arcade. In arcade mode, you
never get the chance to qualify. Try switching it to Realistic and you
should be able to qualify...

I thought the second-hand shops made SURE people sell back the manuals...?
Sounds like they're slacking...
