Yep, I love the AI in NL.  They really challenge you & get both quicker
& more aggressive when you try putting them a lap down.  Much more so
than N3, although I like that title too.  Just prefer NL, myself.  And,
on my machine at least, they do not sound the same so I'm puzzled by
that observation.

Tire wear also makes things a lot more interesting.  A few times I've
managed to find online races to get into, I've found many folks try
driving these like they do in N3.  I just let them go, knowing they're
gonna have to pit before the end of a 10% race.  I keep a pace where I
can *just* make it on tires, and beat them easily.  Has happened at both
Alabama and Atlanta.  Kinda like an automotive chess match, ya gotta
*think*.

So how *should* you drive them?  I've never gotten in online races, but I've
burned up MANY a tire trying to keep up with the AI...

Let's just say, pace yourself.  The longer the race, the better the
payoff.  But if it's like 8% or lower with a venue like Alabama, you
best just let 'er all hang out!

Very smoothly, brake early and accelerate out of the bends, and as a very
rough rule of thumb, I think***jacks on the Ace setups need all bringing
down two settings (90% down to 80% etc), for the tyres to last anything like
a long race. If you hear the tyres squeal, your setup or style is out.

Stagger is set by the crew chief! It's there, but you do not get to set
it yourself. NASCAR has always allowed stagger!
