OT Spoiler Warnings

This week the CART event is being broadcast on ESPN2.  Since I don't have
that, only ESPN, I have to wait til Wednesday morning to get a tape of it.
So...please, and this covers the F1   & WC events as well,  keep the race
discussions inside the posts, not in the subject lines.  Thanks for your
help.

Not again.....

Can't you just restrict your posts to those that are ON topic.

Geez Louise--the poor guy's just asking people to keep the results out of
the frigging' subject headers.  If that sort of request spoils your party,
you're living in a strange zone indeed.

chees!

You can't help some people just being idiots.
This group has nothing whatsoever to do with the events taking place today
at Spa or anywhere else.... it has to do with racing sims!
No, ok, if we all like racing sims here, its fair to say we all like
racing... if you like to chat about racing then go to the alternative
version of this group RASF1! Oh no wait, Now I see why y'all want to post
here, well, there are some intelligent F1 forums around.

I et this a lot visiting Pro-Wrestling groups.being primarily taped earlier
in the week in America there seems to be no such thing are spoilers to these
idiots who flood the group with all events and matches that took place...
you get that..

However this group is a bit more civilised and fun. If you want to post do
keep it under spoilers but we all know come 3pm today someone will
forgetfully post "!!!!!Monty WINS!!!!!!!" here and later on "Andretti does
it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!" or something like that. Idiots really but you can't
help that.

The thought of not visiting the group to avoid topics not relevant to this
group? Why?
Yeah, for you're own sanity but its a shame you'd have to o that because of
a few idiots.

Is it really too much trouble to add in the subject line something like "OT
CART discussion" and then put any results and info inside the message ?
Staying away from a CART newsgroup is indeed recommended, but ras should be
a safe place to visit because real CART is off topic as is F1 etc..

Dave, I won't tell you that JV didn't get .... oops I'll shut up now ;) <No
spoiler, honestly> :)

Not only is he an ass in this group, he is on the track as well (N4).  He is
so self centered he goes nuts when someone passes him and will try to wreck
you even if it was clean with no bumping involved (unlike the real NASCAR).
If he can't catch you then he just flames you.  I killed filed him months
ago, and will bail from a race if I see he's in it.

Well I don't do the Spoiler stuff anyway, I feel it ruins the fun when you
come home and see the guy tell you everything in one header, no need to get
all upset I was just asking a question.

I don't have a problem with people discussing real races.  After all, that's
what we're SIMULATING.  Asking people to post a spoiler warning is just a
common courtesy that some people forget(or refuse) to do.  Where's the harm in
asking?

I have espn2 available...they just want more money than I want to pay them
for it.  Between my cable modem and regular expanded cable, they already get
a good enough chunk of my paycheck.
