Unfortunately yes it does sound right. This sort of thing is
why they are being sued. The routinely cripple other
implementations of things.

Which wheels use Microsoft instead of Iforce? Obviously the MS one, what
about Saitek?
Also, will Iforce be recognised in a patch of some kind?

The TM, Logitech & ACTLabs uses IFORCE. Saitek is essentially
a MS wheel in a Saitek package.

If MS has any say over it I would say no. Imersion may release
something though.

Very slight FF effects in Midtown Midtown madness...   I mean, the effects
are there, but the strength is around 25% of normal.   GPL nadda.
Strangely enough, the forces in Flight Unlimited III work just swell...   if
you like to just taxi around :-)

I get effects in GPL (running software mode) using the MS FF wheel.
