Do you really need to use Win2K?  ME and 98 are better for games.

You know, there are people who do some serious stuff alongside
the ***, and they really benefit from the enhanced stability of
Win2k. Dual boot is an option but still a pain in the back.

Try using two processors and more than 512MB of ram under Win 98. I have to
work on this machine too and I value stability, as Jan pointed out, dual
booting is a waste of disk space and a pain
