Hey Peter -

Your sig is incorrect. Experience doesn't make an incorrect opinion correct.

"Based on my experience, in my opinion, it's a fuel injector problem." (The
problem isn't fuel injection.)

There. Proved it.

No person's opinions can be said to be
more correct than another's, because each is
the sole judge of his or her own experience.

For some reason I can't follow whose posting what with this particular
newsreader.  However, though there are escape's from reality, there are
excellent escapes as it were and there are awful ones.  This one is much worse
than awful.  Its unfathomably terrible.  Escape from reality, take a break from
life, come see us open garbage bags on screen and fling it toward you sort of
film it is.

I saw the movie last Wednesday. All I can say is it was worth $6.50
to me and I was properly entertained.

Yes I was disgusted that they called it the world championship,
and raced a road course in Germany in the rain. But I knew it
was BS and didn't take it seriously. You could see where this
movie really wanted to be a the F1 movie that it started out as.

Interestingly, Speedvision was running Grand Prix on Saturday
night. The cool part, were interviews with James Garner and
the producers of GP. They asked if they thought GP could be
remade today. They said "NO" because is insurance issues
and other technicalities.

For $6.50 I might go see it, but around here, it's more like $8.50, plus $5.00
at the snack stand, $1.00 to park, and that's all asuming you're going alone.
For $12 a month, I can get many different channels, and watch ten movies a
week.  If someone produces a piece of trash like Driven, I don't feel as
personally ***ed as I would if I had spent $20 to see one movie.

I have just paid around $5 for a pirated DVD copy of it and restricted
watching to the racing sequences. Even these were awful. I would like a
$4.50 refund but don't think they will give me one!

Well at least you're safe in the knowledge you didn't give any money to the
thick Hollywood idiots that made the festering pile of ***;-)
