GPL: how big full install??

I'm thinking of getting into GPL, how much hard drive space will I
need to do a FULL install. I think I will need a full install as I
have  a p200 and it will run faster fully installed..

thanks

Well, it will load faster with a full install, but your p200 will ***
on the physics. To really enjoy GPL, you definitly should upgrade your
system.

Just to answer your question: 139MB. But it won't make much sense on a P200.

Eh? I have a Pentium 200 MMX with a 3dfx card and it runs fine. I haven't
done much racing yet, so I know I'll get less fps with other cars around
and I'll need to turn off detail, but on my own I'm getting around 26fps in
***pit view and 30fps from chase view (becuase there's no mirrors, I
guess) with all detail on.

I know I'd be better off with more hardware, but lets face it, the orginal
Formula 1 Grand Prix game only had a maximum of 25 fps whatever you ran it
on (mind you, you could get that on a 33Mhz 486...)

Cheers, Gwyn.

Hmm, that's what I meant. If you drive alone, there's no AI to compute,
but
add just 12 drivers and its not drivable anymore. At least to me,
anything
below 30fps is useless. On my PII-333, V2 SLI I reduced graphics in the
mirrors
and on the cars to stay always at around 30fps...
