Still show the gap to be minor and he isn't using the 1.73 drivers (actually I
got the 1.76 drivers today and they are even faster). Plus he is yet to post
the tests with the new 200MHz TNT 2 Ultra he had just got. Plus you can't
overclock a TNT 2 unless you push it past what the card manufacturer is willing
to warranty it for.The new Diamond V770U is warrantied up to 200MHz so unless
you go above that your not overclocking it.

What STB/3dfx are hoping is that people will buy the Voodoo 3 on the basis of a
few extra FPS with current games as the expense of  future game performance
where the TNT 2 will have equal or greater FPS but better looking graphics and
advanced features support that Voodoo 3 simply doesn't have.

For example, look at the following link. It has interesting information about
the testing of Quake 3.

Also preliminary tests on the new 1.76 drivers show a 30 to 40% increase in
performance for AMD users over the 1.73 drivers. Can't wait to see a comparison
of Voodoo 3 vs TNT 2 Ultra on some AMD CPU's.

Beg yours. I mentioned at least 4 sites you could visit. Shasrky Extreme, Toms
Hardware, Rivazone, Voodoo Extreme. Well known sites, just didn't have  the bookmarks
handy on the PC I was using at the time.

As for repeated requests for me to supply URL's. Where, when and who. Can only
remember one!

Also look at some of my other posts. URL's supplied!

> Why should we? You didn't supply a URL after repeated requests.

Here's some newsgroup (and Internet) etiquette for you:

do NOT quote the entire message when you don't have to!

Somebody just posted a 261 line message and you followed it up with a
266 line message.
