Why not use the driver of your choice and couple it with a small & handy
tool like TNTclk. You can find it at least from Reactor Critical
(at the end of TNT/TNT2 downloads section):
http://www.reactorcritical.com/download.shtml#1000
Nvidia has also included the overclocking option in their reference
drivers but you'll have to enable it from the registry. I've only tried
it with 3.53 Detonators but I see no reason why it wouldn't be there with
the 3.65's.
In
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NVTweak
create a DWORD "CoolBits". Set the Value to 3.
For more options, go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\RIVA TNT\NVTweak
create a DWORD "PowerUser". Set the Value to 1.
This should enable VBlank and render ahead settings behind the D3D
Advanced settings.
Needless to say, I take no responsibility for any consequences, I found
these tips from Usenet sometime last fall and they worked for me. If
you're not comfortable with modifying the registry, I suggest you try
something else, like the TNTclk - you really can't go wrong with that.
BTW, even with radical overclocking, you won't see much an improvement in
Delta Force 2. DF2 is inherently slow because of the infamous Voxel
technology Novalogic keeps insisting on. It doesn't take full advantage
of any 3D hardware and thus overclocking your 3D card won't really make a
difference, but then, there are other games...
You should have a heatsink + a fan attached to that GPU.
