In the sound setting menu, there are four things that I don't get.
When can you hear the following: Music, sounds, and announcer?  I can
only hear music and announcer during the start-up demo, and music at
the game's closing screen.  What are sounds?

Sounds are: Tires screeching
            Thumping walls
            "tapping" other cars
            Pace car drivers query

I've heard the first three MANY times!

You only get music and anouncer during the start up and  you get music
during exiting screen. I'm not sure but i think sound is just tire noise
and other stuff
