I think GPL will be the racing-game with the most hype before the official
release. So i will do also my part to it.

Can somebody tell me how many tracks will be "comfirmed by Papyrus"
available in GPL and off course which one's

At the Sierra homepage I read about Zandvoort. Spa was announced in this
News-group. But will there also be a Nurnburg-ring (Nordschleiffe) or
something like that.

Greetings from Holland, Johan

Hi Johan,

The following tracks are definitely in the game;

Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium)
Rouen (France)
Watkins Glen (USA)
Mosport (Canada)
Hermano Rodriguez (Mexico)
Kyalami (South Africa)
Zandvoort (Holland)
Monza (Italy)

No official word on the Nurburgring-Nordschleiffe yet...

Brands Hatch and Silverstone (both UK) have also been mentioned but
not confirmed.
See my page at http://www.gp-legends.com and John's page at
http://gpl.gamestats.com for all the latest news...

Tipical that someone named "Clermonts" doesn't understand the historical
value of tracks like  Clermont-Ferrand

Clermont Ferrand was not used in the 1967 Championship.
This honour went to what Jack Brabham called a "Mickey Mouse"
circuit....the Le Mans Bugatti track.

Alan....
By "Rouen", do you mean the actual 1967 circuit?  If so, it was the Le
Mans-Bugatti track.

Nope, Papy are including Rouen instead of Le Mans-Bugatti, even though
it was used in the '68 season and not '67. They've said that they want
to capture the essence of late-60s F1 rather than to accurately
simulate a particular season. In the case of Le Mans, this is
undoubtedly a good thing!

Correct. This was a one-off race, i.e. F1 cars only raced here in
'67. I'm open to correction, tho... :)

I'm pretty sure that you are correct, Rob.  The circuit (Le
Mans-Bugatti) was treated with disdain by the drivers....they hated it.
I don't think it was used again for a Championship race.
