Basically, apart from the occasional trafic helicopter (very noisy, very
easy to spot) and speedtrap (position announced on national radio... I KID
YE NOT!!!) you got nothing to worry about but people getting in your way.
The official limit on motorways is 75mph, but usually everybody does at
least 80.

In the now 12 years since passing my licence I have only been "done" for
speeding once. Ironically somewhere they changed the speedlimit and I didn't
notice (I was well within the old limit). I am not particularly proud of it,
but time is money and I usually drive as fast as weather and traffic
conditions allow. Nothing as extreme as that guy tho' (besides, I drive a
car). I occasionally get up to 90-95mph if I've got the road to myself (a
very rare occasion over here).

> >What is "Taxi"???

> It's a french action film with some pretty cool car chases.

And it's -way- over-rated.  The car chases are imho not really good.  There
is much better car chases in the history of movie making.  Rent Ronin,
Bullit, etc..

It's just not flowing correctly in Taxi.  Due to many things,
over-producing, bad camera placement, tight editing and low budget.

Yup, forgot to mention that the movie pretty much sucks overall. Emma
Sj?berg as a German cop, yeah right... :)

I think the car scenes are very unrealistic, but somewhat
entertaining. Scratch some, though. Like the scene where the bad
guys's mercedes mysteriously flies perfectly horisontally onto an
unfinished bridgesection... nggh

Seeing someone do 100mph(in the US, anyway) is rare enough that it still
surprises people.  And a freeway is a more 'closed-in' version of a highway.  I
didn't know how else to explain it...<shrug>
