Apart from just getting the actual value from someone who knows, you
might be able to:
- make a custom camera right in front of the car
- look at a steady shot from the car at a standstill
- deduce the RC from that by following the suspension rods
horizontally; then from the point where they meet, draw a line to the
contact patch center.
- where that last line cross the car centerline, there's a reasonable
rollcenter.
v0.5 of Racer will probably do dynamic rollcenters; they're analyzed
in Carlab now when you drag your suspension rods. Nice to see.
On the other hand, static RC's are nice because it's a bit more
predictive (doing good suspensions is probably an art in itself).
Hope you find out the RC heights though; that's interesting info.
There once was a thread IIRC where for a Cart or F1 car the front RC
height was a little below ground, and the rear was *just* above the
ground.
