N2 drivers list

Hi, yeah, I know, this question has been asked five million times
already, but I've misplaced the answer. The question is... In the N2
drivers list, ie, the season list, how do you move the driver's name up
or down the order using the keyboard. I know there's a way but...
Also, while I'm here. A friend and I have just recently begun racing
over our modems. We'd like to talk to each other either while we're
racing or before and after. There's a chat room in the race setup page
of the multiplayer section but we don't know how to access it. Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Roy,

As far as I know, you can't move a driver's name up and down in a list
without downloading some sort of utility from one of the Nascar pages on
the web.  If all you have is the stock game and you want to position a
certain driver at a certain place in a list, you must remove drivers from
the list until you get to that location, place the driver you want there,
then add the other drivers back on.  I'm guessing you and your buddy want
to race each other, and you want him to see you in your car and vice
versa.  To do this, on your machine remove ALL the drivers from the multi
list, then put your name at the top of the list.  Next, put his name.  Then
add in the rest of the drivers.  He will have to do the same thing on his
machine, except with his name at the top of the list, then yours, then the
rest of his list will have to be EXACTLY the same as the rest of your
list.  If he has made changes to his car's paint scheme and you want to see
them, you have to make sure you have the lastest copy of his .car file on
your machine, and vice versa.  To chat, when you're on the Connect screen,
you will see "CHAT AREA" towards the top.  A ways below that there is a
sort of "L" shaped mark.  Click to the right of that mark and you will get
a flashing cursor, then you can type your message.  Hope this helps.
