I've been meaning to try it but I'm too busy with Splinter Cell 2 and
waiting for Thief 3. =)

I loved this game within 10 seconds or so of playing the demo. I bought
the full version the next day.
I played it on Normal and finished it. I started a game on Realistic
and played through the first level. That difficulty would require some
serious strategy later on. I never tried the MP.
I have since sold it as UT2004 is so much fun but am looking forward to
FC2. :)
I have high hopes for Doom 3 but the graphics in FC are amazing. I
liked the way the enemies would react to being shot; more or less
realistic reactions depending on where they were shot. Also the fact
that shooting to the head/neck killed them faster. All in all a great
game if you have the PC to run it.

Yep, it's fun-tastic. I had a blast with the game. Definitely the best
graphics I've personally ever seen in a game, and just the thing to show
off my monster rig. I hear someone is working on a Jurassic Park mod.
Wow, that would be killer. I hope it doesn't get shutdown with a cease &
desist though.

One of my favs was shooting a guy riding in a boat and he ended up in the
water, and the *** flowed out naturally around his body. And the physics
are fun. I shot a guy who was standing by a railing with the shotgun, and
it sent him over the railing. Looked very natural.

LOL, but GPL gave you the skills to drive the Jeep well, didn't it? ;-)

There are always issues with any game, some of which bug some people more
than others. But nothing whatsoever has stopped me having the best FPS fun
I've had since RTCWolfenstein. There's a demo anyway. If that doesn't sell
it to people then they probably won't enjoy the full release.

And of course nobody in this newsgroup has any problems with PC games
do they.
