Stupid question: Anyone recall the date that Ubisoft's F1 RS was released?

they say the release date was July, 1998.

Given that the files on the CD are dated Nov 6, 1997 or older, I
somehow doubt that (unless they're referring to a US release).

Thanks... I knew it was sometime in the spring of '98 or so.

Man, call me crazy, but those screenshots in that review don't look half bad
3 years later!

Wow I still have this on my HD and havent tried it since GPL... I always
liked this sim and I wonder if it can come up to the sims of 2001? Hmm?
There attempt of their Second version never worked on my 'PC' or with
all 5 upgrades. What was it again MGSRP or somthing? Did I ever have
major problems trying to run this version.. Peee Uuuuu...

F1RS was launched on the USA market almost a full year after it's
International release if I remember correctly. Quite ironically, around the
same time as MGPRS2!
