Thought I'd repost this for F12002. If you don't want the cars to flick to
lower detail as they pull away from you, then go to your C:\Program Files\EA
SPORTS\F1 2002\Season02 or SeasonRH02\Vehicles folder, open your f1 car gen
file and replace these lines:

<MAX>    MeshFile=<1234>va.MTS CollTarget=False HATTarget=False LODIn=(0.0)
LODOut=(7.0)
<MAX>    MeshFile=<1234>vb.MTS CollTarget=False HATTarget=False LODIn=(7.0)
LODOut=(10.0)
<MAX>    MeshFile=<1234>vc.MTS CollTarget=False HATTarget=False LODIn=(10.0)
LODOut=(20.0)
<MAX>    MeshFile=<1234>vd.MTS CollTarget=False HATTarget=False LODIn=(20.0)
LODOut=(250.0)

with these:

How does that affect the framerate tho?

I didn't notice any difference, but you'll still have the original car set
available to you if you want it. Just use the original desktop start icon to
load it.
