When i look at a picture of the cars back then i see that the driver's
head is usually marginally higher than the roll bar - is this dangerous
or what? are they asking to be decapitated? but anyway, i figure the
static appears when the car is upsidedown and resting on teh rollbar,
but the viewpoint which is in the driver's head position is therefore
slightly in the ground, so it's an easy way out of trying to think up
something useful to display when the viewpoint is below the ground:)
of course, trying to drive with your head between the car and the road
isn't good technique so i would hope people don't see this static too
frequently!:)
