        Im having a problem keeping my wheel in place. I clamp it down
but the suction cups keep popping off when im turning, any ideas on
how to fix this?

Haha thanks Jet, good laugh! I did moisten them first they still pop
up no matter how hard i try not to yank on the wheel! I think its the
wood on my desk but im not sure!

Hi,

I had the same problem. What I did:

I removed the suction cups and placed bolts through the holes (6 mm). To
prevent damaging the plastic, I put small
pieces of woon between the plastic and the head of the bolt.
Then I made two holes in the table for the bolds and fastened them by
butterfly nuts so I can remove the wheel
quickly.

Man, I gotta get some pics of these things...

On both my GP1 and T1 (same steering-wheel casing) I have this
weird-but-great system.  You open up the case, add in a few bolts, and
attatch a keyboard-sized piece of plywood to the bottom.  Then you drill a
hole on either end and get these hand-screw things (like a big bolt with a
plastic handle) and also drill two matching holes in the desk.  You get
these little threaded things that you hammer into the holes and then put it
all on the desk.  Not a millimeter of movement!  Maybe I should start
selling them as kits...
