version.

Hello Mr. Rick.

I think everybody knows the story, you don't.  I had it installed, everybody
knows that.  Why did you thought I didn't? We weren't even talking about
that! Rrevved and I were talking about racing it now, after I took the title
out of my HD.  Get your fact or shut up.  In fact, I wonder why I never had
you kill-filed? Pity, I guess..

But you have absolutely no credibility, so why should I care?

>Hello Mr. Rick.

Hi :-)

I know your story, it's the conflicts that have me tied up in knots.

Because you went  off on a clintonian tangent trying to use a technicallity
to hide your crimes from EA (the software developer).

BBBBBBut the way I understand it, and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong,
that the crime is irreversibly commited once the program is illegally copied
to your HD, independent of wheter or not you actually race the application.

I *do* believe I have my facts are straight.

If you can regain your lost credibility, then I sure can. :-)

Rick

Pardon my French, I'm English speaking.

I don't think he's *denied* it at all.  For God's sake--this has been chewed
and chewed and chewed here in the ng.  Frank had an issue (like many here)
not with the actual d'loading, but with making the ng into a forum for
explicit trading of warez sites, files, etc.

Am I the only one who has noticed this?

The "point" your missing David is that Frank publicly criticizes everyone
for looking for a "freebee" then goes and takes one himself. Then he has the
balls to come on here and comment on it. On the same day he's on here
calling someone a cheap bastard for looking for Pocono. I would call that a
being hypocritical. I have always said I could give to shits either way but
I cant stand a hypocrite. I used to respect the guy but now I see he is
nothing but a two faced moron.

Not true.  I simply inform him that he can find the track in either Nascar
Racing 2 or Nascar Racing : 1999 Edition on the NROS folder.  Or in the case
of the full version of a game, I simply tell the people to think a little.
Heck the URL were plastered everywhere in this NG.  Can't they simply use
Deja.com? Probably too hard...   It goes with my point that this NG
shouldn't become a public place for illegal exchange of files or URL that
points to illegal files.  I know back in the old days I made the error, and
I don't want this NG to become like that.

application.

But it's not the point Rick.  Im not hiding the fact (like many other people
in this newsgroup) that I tried the game to get myself an opinion of how
exactly the title is.  I never did, but that's what you may have thought.
Rrevved was asking me something around "how do you know for sure that you've
raced the full version of F1 2000?"  I replied that It wasn't the point of
the discussion, and it's all you have to know (that I could had raced the
full version anywhere, but that doesn't mean I haven't tried on my HD).

Yep, we saw that about Y2k.

Hmm, I never saw you write an informative message related to racing
simulators for the past years, and when it was it implied yourself in racing
seat with a harness and a helmet.

It happened often in the past.  A big group of people in this newsgroup
actually had an early beta version of GPL.  Same goes for SBK2000, or Nascar
Racing 3.  It just went public for F1 2000, which wasn't the best step for
this NG I still say.

No Stiffff, No.

No, he criticizes them for looking for it *here.*  HERE.  There's a
difference there, but I'm growing less and less confident in my ability to
convince you. I really don't think you get it, but I'm tired of trying to
delineate that distinction.  Some would call it a fine one--I admit
that--but  . . .

Oh, I give up.

Enough ridicule for my racing seat, fire suit, harnesses, helmet, heaters,
etc... all the while you "race" sitting in a $49.95 Office Depot(tm) swivel
chair on casters. (I don't see how you can manage to do it with that thing
rolling around, winding, turning,  squeaking, creaking, tilting...and the
uggghhh...ARM RESTS???)

Be aware that I'm not alone as you have people here spending thousands of
dollars to put an almost *real* race car -- sans tyres -- into thier living
rooms!  Jeeezz, at least I can hide my stuff for when normyl people stop by
to visit.

FYI:  I no longer race with my harnesses since I've reinstalled them back
into my street stock, as I'm in the midst of preparing my ride for racing in
the famous "World Class Street Stocks" divsion on the half-mile oval at
Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite Texas this summer.

It's gonna be a banner year.

How the heck do you know? Oh another ASSumption by Mr. Rick.  Have you
polled this newsgroup to find out on what we race on?  Have you personally
visited each and every simracer's house to see what chair type he has?

You would be surprised on how many of us have car seats, racing seats or
full-cockpits in this newsgroup, including me.

Wasn't it the end of the world for you a couple of months ago? Ah...
