ICR: Elkhart Lake

My 486DX2-66 only has 4 MB, and I to got Elkhart Lake to work.  The trouble is,
when you go and increase the number of opponents, it will run out of memory.  I
think it will be somewhere in between 14 and the maximum number of opponents.
Not a big problem, but for those who want it completely realistic, this may not
do.  To me, it is not worth the extra expense of 4MB RAM just to add a few
extra opponents.

ICR: Elkhart Lake

(Yes, the ICR Circuits Pack is finally available in Finland, no sight of
IMS, but I can wait...)

I got a big surprise today.  It looks like the Elkhart Lake works (at least)
on my computer with 4 MB of memory.  I'm running with minimun detail
(386, that's why).  Preseason testing in Elkhart Lake works fine and I
took a quick race test with 11+1 cars and at least the race started.
I didn't have time to finish it, so I don't know if there will be any
problems later.

I'm NOT saying it will work on every 386/486/Pentium with 4MB of memory,
but if you have bought 7 track pack, it is at least worth of trying.
After all, EL with no detail is better than no EL at all;-)

I wonder if this has anything to do with different releases?  My Circuit
Pack is the english (european) version distributed by ***.  The GFLAG
values were correct in detroit.txt and midohio.txt.

BTW: I use clean boot setup with ICR, I don't even load mouse driver.

Hope this information is useful, Pasi.

(For those, who don't know what I'm writing about: Elkhart Lake is
supposed to take 8 MB of RAM).
