You're just not a real one are you ? You're the first one in the
newsgroup who thinks GP2 sucks, and probably the only one on this
planet. Although I do like it when people have a mind of their own, I
don't think you're right here. For the benefit of it, let me explain a
few things:
- first of all, the game was made with the future in mind. That most of
us can't play the game in full glory, with SVGA graphips and 25 fps at
Monaco, is not something the program should be blamed for. I'm sure that
with you're machine, if you turn down the frame rates and turn of some
details, you'll be able to play the game pretty well even in SVGA.
- second, you should have known that is was the '94 season when you
bought the game. That information was just about everywhere !! But don't
be afraid: I'm sure we'll get updates in the future, or perhaps even
editors to make it any season we'd like. And another thing: running the
94 season doesn't mean a game is old ! It would have run smoothly on
your machine if it were !
- and third, about these bugs that you 'discovered', I haven't heard
anything about this and knowing Geoff Crammond and his team, it seems
very unlikely to me. I'm sure the only bug in this newsgroup is you, so
please don't bother telling people they shouldn't buy the game, because
of these few silly reasons you came up with !!!
To all of those real racing types out there I would like to say: Buy the
game, it got top scores everywhere by experienced game testers from all
over the world, so it's NOT absolute ***as this guy would want you to
believe. I'm buying the game today and will for sure find out that the
others where right and this guy was not!!
See Ya, Eddy
