I'm up for an international good citizen award, so here goes:
Brick, WRD, and Statracer are the names of the servers, same concept
as Papy loop.
WRD is a nice bunch. They won't host any races without a moderator
present to keep a close eye on things. ***driving usually brings a
warning if it's an honest mistake, but they do boot people who are
obviously out of place.
Winston Cup is the name of the "top-level" series in NASCAR. Its is
named after the trophy the champion of that series wins at the end of
the season. The series is sponsored by RJ Reynolds, makers of Winston
cigarettes.
Pickup racing is what you do if you don't belong to a league. You go
out to the Sierra lobbies and look for races to join. "Pickup" is
just idiomatic English for... unscheduled, impromptu, err... someone
help me here.
OR, maybe you mean pickup racing like the Craftsman Truck Series that
is also part of NASCAR. They race something that vaguely looks like a
pickup truck. Personally, I'll only be impressed if they start racing
with cargo in the beds, but hey, to each his own.
Does it stay dark all the time in Norway, in winter? Or is it more
like a really long twilight? I've always wondered.
HTH,
Gerald
