Getting a lot of page faults with some games. I am using two V2
Blackmagic cards with the stealth coolers on each.  Now after Falcon 4.0

crashed on me I cannot even run GPL or N1999, they both crash with a
page fault. Will not even startup. I have re-installed both but no
luck.  I have re-installed my V2 drivers, Thriller drivers, uninstalled
DX6 and re-installed. ***2 runs good, I get an occasional freeze,
Unreal runs good but eventually breaks. Sin's good, Falcon runs fairly
well but eventually page faults.

I have an ABIT BH6 with the SL2W8 running at 450. No cards are
overclocked and I have 9 fans running including the two stealths.
Current case temp is running at 86.  Do not think heat is the problem or

my power supply (300w).  Also running Win98.

Any suggestions on what might be causing the game crashes?

More system info:
Voodoo2 3DFX ref drivers with glide 2.54
SBLive current drivers
Thriller drivers from the CD
Microsoft DX6.0

Thanks
Rick

IF it workeed at one time and now doesn't......reformat reinstall is the
only thing that fixed it for me.

I kept getting faults thougha dn what it was, was my Barnd X PC100 memory.
128 megs of Corsair memory solved ALL the problems that I had with GPL and
Falcon crashing.

You might want to try upping your CPU core voltage.  I was seeing
the same sort of thing until I increased it by 0.1.  I have a very
well-cooled box, so heat wasn't a problem.  Now the only crashes
I get are when I have off-track excursions.. :)

You could try using the old Directx5 glide 2.53 drivers, I know GPL
needs this driver (place it in your GPL directory) not sure about your
other programs though?

Whats confusing is I use Rendition for GPL and 3DFX for Nascar99. Neither
will run get page faults. All other games are running fine now.
