Hello !
Bought the game, installed & played. Very impressive graphics , fine
car physics, poor sound & menu system.

Anyway, I never got far from racing for 2-3 laps, it just kept
crashing with this error message

" F1VOO caused an invalid page fault in module WAVX2BVR.DLL etc etc "

I have :
Intel200MMX
32meg RAM
STB Nitro 3D 4 meg - latest drivers (June 97)
Canopus Pure 3D - latest drivers (2.43)
Ensonic AudioPCI - latest drivers (Dec 97)
Direct X5.0
Win95OSR2
Patch 1.05 applied

What should I do .... go back to GP2 ?

I get the same error, unless I put my Diamond Monster Sound into safe
mode.  Maybe you can do the same with your PCI sound card?   If that
doesn't work you can edit the Snd_cpa.ini file.  (that is what I did
so I would have to put the Diamond in Safe mode)  I made this change,
have NO idea what it does, other than solves my problem. <G>

Default=WAVPWBVR

However, I could never get to the race screen, I got that error as
soon as I got to the 1st menu.  (sometimes the 2nd if I was fast)
Also low disk space will give the same error. (according to Ubisoft,
but that happens when the track is trying to load)

I got the same message when I first started the game. I just reinstalled
the .dll from my F1RS CD. It worked for me. I also read that it might
mean not enough memory.
