Anyone else here agree with me that the Talladega 2-3 wide patch is
the BEST!! It works GREAT if you keep the Restricter Plates on! Race

Hey Tom, you dipshit!

You complain about reading too many messages about GP2 in your "GP2
Blows" thread.  However you flood the newsgroup with about 20 of the
most stupid, mindless, moronic, idiotic posts I have ever read.  For
your information most people love Gp2.  The things being complained
about are minor things like paintkits, pit stop times, etc.  Most of
these losers who complain have already bought IndyCar by mistake and
are too cheap to get GP2.

And about you fool, get your ass up and do something more usefull
than flooding the internet with your pathetic thoughts from your
pathetic brain.

Look,  Tom has a right to speak his mind.  GP2 is a good game,   and just because
Tom thinks it sucks and you don't think it sucks,  you have no right to put him
down.  He has the right,  that's the American Way.

It works great with both!  I could always do over 200 in the
tri-oval, now it's very HARD considering they come in right
beside you and don't back off!  It's a blast now.

Another great feature is when you bump them.  They don't go
spinning out of control, they recover and get back in line.
This is the way it should be for ALL tracks.

Keep up the good work guys...

It seems like the patch makes the races easier.  On the back stretch where the
AI cars used to draft they just fly into 2-3 wide formation and lose the draft.

MAYBE BUT I CAN'T DRAFT WITH THEM ANYWAY!!! But they STILL draft in my
game, even if the LEADER is a mile ahead of everybody all by himself!!

Toto, I don't this this is America...  Anway, Tom does have a right to
speak his mind and others have a right to speak theirs' about Tom's
comments.  Tom, admitted he didn't even own the game.  He was simply
posting flame-bait.  Even though this ain't America (it's the whole
world), everyone still has the right to be an idiot.  We just have to
learn to live with them.

Please, please, please, for the love of all thing Holy, don't let this
thread turn into 'Who owns the internet'.

Back on the subject of the patch, I now find Talladega too easy.  The AI
cars don't draft as much on the back straight, thus it is much easier to
keep up and pass cars.  Also I've noticed an increased frequency of
yellows, futher allowing you to catch the leaders.  I guess I'll just
have to change the RELS line again to make them faster...

reguard to reality...

True, but that doesn't make passing that easy.  Besides, lately there's been
a lot of side by side racing at Tally.  I suspect it's because everyone is
using the same compression.  As of now Sterling Marlin can make passes
without a partner and occassionally so can other folk.

All that said, I'd agree with the drivers that it's getting too close and
way too dangerous.

It's a great patch. Would like to see other tracks
do the same.

I haven't paid a lot of attention to these posts, but if my memory is
correct Tom said that he has never played GP2. I agree that everyone has
their right to voice their opinion, but how seriously can we take it if
the person voicing it doesn't know what they are talking about;
especially when they make broad statements about NASCAR2 (which isn't
even out yet) is great and GP2 (which he has never played, correct me if
I'm wrong) is terrible. This appears to be a very close-minded
discussion. I'm not sure why I even responded to this,...not worth
the space.......... signing off now.
