Question for the GPL "Hackers" community:

Has anyone ever made the driver hands look like "hands" instead of bricks
wearing gloves? You know, rounded knuckles and that sort of thing? I've
just recently returned to running GPL....now the square hands are bothering
me. Just thought I'd ask.

Not a very helpful responce, but I experienced that I got faster after
turning them off. :) Less distraction.

They don't for me. Your eyes shouldn't focus on that portion of the screen,
therefore hands should appear blurry and the problem solved.

I mean, will you post something like "Has somebody yet fixed the mirror
curvature? They are 2d, it distracts me from real-life mirrors that are
curved.

I'm sure you play all your racing games with the trackside detail turned
off. It's not needed and only gives you a lower framerate.

So.....nobody has done this?

I'm in shock!

We have 954 tracks, 231 different***pits (just for the Ferrari mind you),
every tire and wheel ever made by man (including high-grip wagon wheels), a
car set that includes every race car that's ever run in F1 (regardless of
year), new exhausts, new headers, new plug wires, new pit boards, every
color driving suit under the sun (ditto arm stripes).......but no one has
put round knuckles on the brick hands?

What is wrong with that picture? Guess I'm going to have to do this myself.

Does anybody know how?

sim community when its so much easier to just suck the milk and honey from

LOL! That was supposed to be a secret...

Hey remember that WSC... errr oops Starsky and Hutch will be open-source,
thus it'll be quite easy to add knuckles to the hands if there is any :)
