Having enabled the shifter in RC2000, I've noticed that I select gear using
specific buttons on my wheel (Ferrari FF wheel).

So I guess that if you rewire the ACT Lab shifter to the button in the wheel
it can act correctly with this wheel and probably others.

Any comments?

ACT Lab shifter owner, what is the connector like? (how many pin?)

It could be cool and not too expensive compare to change the entire setup
(wheel+pedal)

The Shifter uses 8 buttons, your Ferrari wheel has 10, so you'd have 2 to
spare. It would be quite a job to do it, but it could be done. The Shifter
uses a 9 pin DIN unlike any I've ever seen before. It would probably be
easier to use different connectors.
