...go out and show your support by the only way it matters...

buy another copy.

consider it a $30 tip for the work that they have already performed.

Technically, you'd have to buy several copies to give them a 30 tip,
as only a part of the 30 you spend on a game goes to the designers of
the game itself.

You have to remember that a lot of it goes to the retailer, the tax
man, the advertising, etc.

Only if we can have a written guarantee that the proceeds will go
towards the development of a GPL engine-based sim and not towards "Rodeo
Clown 2000".

I wouldn't mind a Rodeo Clown simulator, but only if it accurately modeled
the physics of being gored in the ass and then launched by an angry Brahma
bull.  You would definitely need force feedback for this one!

When I bought a second copy it wasn't about "tipping" Papyrus, it was about adding
another sale to their credit. I begrudge the money going to the various leeches along
the way, but they're an inevitable part of the equation that brought  GPL to my PC. Bottom
line is, the more sales GPL gets, the more attention Sierra pay to Papyrus.

The cheaper GPL gets, the more copies I'll buy. GPL makes a great present for anyone
with a PC. Whether they like it or not is their problem :-)

Now that IS a bright idea! One of the best I've seen all day in fact.

GPL really is the perfect gift for anybody with a good PC, especially
if it's at such a low price.
