without having any real reason to do so?
A worthless quote from an online game magazine? Little heads?
Wait until you at least have a demo this time.

But to strighten it up... it's not little heads. It's between wide
***pits.... or.... the head rests around the helmet are missing. both could
be true. But It's nothing I'm gonna fuss over.
and as said in my last post... i dunno about the authenticity of that
interview. and if it was an actual interview they atleast dumbed down the
responces. Just doesn't seam like gjon's kinda replies.

Why not? Is it something dangerous, or illegal?
Oh so we can start bashing it "after" there is a demo? You mean like RC2000?

We'll see on it's release, and that's a fact.

And, we're just discussing it, pre-release! I saw the cars of F1 2000
and saw the cars in GP3. Right now I can say that I hate the car models
in the first one and love the models in the second one.
If weather is left out (is it just a rumour?) than I can say that the
sim took another big hit in the feature list.
Nobody posted something like 'F1 2000 sucks!'. THAT would be silly and
doesn't happen here (very) often...

Yes, the frame rate might be a bit slow with a full grid, but
having a high-detail option would still be nice.

Of course it's too early to slash it. But really, it makes a BAD
impression to show those pictures with the little heads. This is such
an EASY thing to get right. If they don't bother about something like
that, then how could they take the rest seriously?

R.a.s. already has, based on nothing.
You've probably only seen the distorted screenshots and video clips of
F12000 which were taken from the replay mode.
I'm looking forward to GP3 as much as anyone, but it also will be missing
some very key features.
'98 season.
One car model for all teams.
No TCP/IP internet play. Hotlap replays are a bore.
David G Fisher
Give me a break, if that's the worst that can be said about the upcoming GP3
then sign me up for a copy!
I don't play over the internet, so that's not a factor, I rarely spend time
watching replays, but don't understand how one games replay is boring while
another is exciting?
As for the season, I'm sure within a month of release, that someone, like
the www.uspits.com will have a 2000 carset ready to download...
Not sure what you mean by "one car model for all teams" ? Are you saying
that a Ferrari, will look exactly like a Williams, or a Jordan, or ??? Or do
you mean one physics model for all cars?
Please specify, and please enlighten us as to where you got your
information?
I guess if it's not an EA game, that you beta'ed then it's no good, right?
Please try not to be so biased David...

Like I said, I'm looking forward to GP3 as much as anyone. What's the worst
thing about F12000 (that's been proven)?
I said in another thread that no TCP/IP will have little effect on GP3's
sales, but for many here at r.a.s including myself, no TCP/IP racing is a
huge negative. Sitting in front of my computer and hotlapping until I can
upload a competitive replay to an internet site is a huge bore compared to
live, head to head racing. Also, the top hotlappers are 99% of the time
simply the one's with the most time to kill.
Maybe there will be, but will they be able to make the correct tracks
(including Indy and Malaysia)?
The car shapes are all the same and a Jordan performs the same as a Ferrari.
Check the web or even this newsgroup.
Not sure what you mean by that exactly, but I could care less who the
publisher of a sim is or whether I tested it or not. All I care about is if
I like a sim enough in order to spend limited time with it. Again, I'm
looking forward to GP3 as much as any car sim ever made so I don't know why
you'd say that I think it's "no good".
David G Fisher
Agreed. But David will buy it aswell, see first line.
GP3 will have the same "last 20 seconds only" replay as GP2. F1 2000
seems to have longer replays.
Hmmm, I expect that it will be much harder to modify GP3 files then it
was with GP2. Reason? They plan GP4, GP5 with new seasons 1 year
later...
David meant that the 3D shape is the same for all cars. He also could
have mentioned that you as driver, whatever team you select, still get
the properties of the fastest car. So no "what if" scenario when you
hop in the Arrows, or something.
You could get this information from various interviews with the
developers.
I agree that David often seems biased, but not in this case IMO.
Nothing wrong with that. Well, it's wrong when directed to me, of
course....

Distorted, as in somebody screwed up all screenshots made of F1 2000?
If the cars look more realistic in the final sim, I'm the first to buy
it.
But I doubt it (I hope that is a legal expression of oppinion).
By your own standards, you shouldn't put down a sim before it's
released...
;^)
Or is it only "putting it down", if other people mention possible short-
commings?
