Annoying constant vibration with LWFF in Codemasters games?

by Chris Burnet » Mon, 26 Feb 2001 05:21:18

Just installed TOCA 2 and INSANE by codemasters on my Win2K box and both
games have a really annoying constant "vibration" whenever I am in the game
driving using my USB Logitech Wingman FF wheel. Its almost like an engine
idle effect that is far too strong. It makes both games unplayable so I'd
really like to know if anyone else has had this problem and has a fix for
it.

Both games have the latest patches installed and Win2K is SP1 and has
DirectX 8 installed, and I am using the latest Logitech drivers (v3.62?).

GPL and Midtown Madness 2 seem to work fine - only seems to be the
Codemasters ones causing me problems! I would have searched back through the
Deja archives, but Google still don't seem to have that working properly yet
(grrrrrrrr).

PLEASE HELP!!!

Thanks,

Chris
